Thonon, Châtel, Abondance valley: La Maison de L’Immo expands its presence to the mountains

Thonon is but one step away from Châtel… Well, almost. More like 24.6 miles, and about a 45-minute drive. And from one town to the other, two completely different atmospheres. On the one hand, a coastal city at the edge of a lake so great one can barely see the other side. On the other, a mountain village renowned for its beautiful scenery, peaceful quiet, but most of all, for its access to one of the biggest ski areas in Europe, Les Portes du Soleil. Two real estate markets which, albeit geographically close, are vastly distinct in every other aspect. One real estate agency however, decided to step in and rise to the challenge: La Maison de l’Immo is expanding its presence from Thonon to Châtel and even to the Abondance valley. Here’s why:

A mountain market for second homes

Our real estate agency did not decide to tackle the mountain market randomly. Although we are keen to grow our clientele, first and foremost, we wanted to address an increasing demand on the part of our existing customers. The proximity with Châtel, and more broadly, with the Abondance valley, make it a perfect place to get a change from Thonon and Lake Geneva’s shores. We get regular demands from our Thononian customers to find second home mountain or resort properties. Our national and international clients also represent a large part of these demands. Naturally, we obliged!

Choosing the mountains to live near Thonon

Principal residences are also highly on demand in this area. Many families and young people are fond of this mountain-y atmosphere found in the Abondance valley and would rather settle away from the city. Delphine and Régine, two of our trusted realtors, are quite familiar with the area, being locals themselves, and have built a network of locals in need of a real estate agency service. From then on, expending our presence here seemed like the natural next step.

‘Being born and bred in Abondance, I grew up here and now, I live here with my husband and daughter. I couldn’t picture myself living anywhere else.’

 Creating a geographic continuity

It seemed like the logical thing to do for our real estate agency, La Maison de l’Immo, to expand its presence in Châtel, Abondance, and all across the Abondance valley. Our will is to create a geographical continuity for our customers so as to better guide them in their different projects. The mountain market in our region has a lot to offer.

Whatever your real estate project; be it a house, an apartment, or a plot, be it a new program or a resale, involving work or not, for an investment or a new place to live, our trusted realtors are at your service. Our goal is to make your wish come true and breathe life into your project. This is why we are now going local in Châtel, Abondance and across the Abondance valley. So as to meet your needs and demands. For any additional information, get in touch with us!
